About Me
This page is continually under construction…just as I am!
My name is Diane and I am a 50 something woman finding healing from several infectious diseases using Simply Real Foods. As you can see in the photo above, I am vibrant and alive. I am grateful to my Lord that I found my way using food that heals. As it says in Isaiah 55:2; “Listen, listen eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.” Fare is food! And so my goal was to set out and find that food. It has been a very long journey, but I am living life to the fullest and I want to share with as many people as I can, how I did that.
I was diagnosed in 2005 with a long term chronic infection of Lyme Disease and 3-4 co-infections; Malaria/Babesia, Ehrliciosis, and Bartonella. It’s been my passion since to find a cure using food. I am nearly 100% healed with a occasional seasonal battle with Malaria/Babesia. I first became sick at the age of 13. And after returning home from my first missions trip to India in 2005, I was nearly dead. My doc is uncertain as to whether I have Malaria or Babesia or both and it was at that time I was finally diagnosed with Lyme and the other infections. Since Malaria & Babesia are cousins; one is tick borne the other mosquito, we treat them the same and it’s really not important as to which it really is. They both attack and kill the same. After an acute attack in the fall of 2008, I discovered that I could recover from the severe destruction of my red blood cells, using food alone. Food for me also includes plants and herbs as well as raw dairy and grass-fed meats.
It’s the work of Dr Weston A Price and others that I credit for my remarkable recovery in 2006 when I first started consuming raw dairy. The research of Amanda Rose, Ph.D. also lead me to see from researched food data that indeed foods that are highly nutrient would play a role in my healing. And they did.
Although Amanda’s research and work was done primarily for Post-Partum Depression, I took the information and used it for Lyme & it’s Co-Infection Diseases. Many with Lyme & Co-Infections suffer from the same affects of depression and so I assumed the same applied. The nutritional data does not change whether one is struggling with depression or Lyme & Co-Infections. It remains the same. Even though the symptoms are much more extensive with Lyme & Co-Infections, the foods that heal do not change, nor do they’re nutrient values. This was my jumping off point.
Dr Price’s discovery that when high vitamin cod liver oil and high vitamin butter were combined he saw remarkable and even miraculous healing take place. And so my journey to find healing began!
You can find further information about my healing on my blog The Home of Peaceful Acres. As I stated at the top of the page, I am continually under construction and my story is not over! I am in the process of writing a book to chronicle my healing and recovery. Please look for it in the coming year or two or three. As you know the undertaking of writing a book is huge, but I long to share my story of hope with others. If you are interested I recommend bookmarking this site and checking on my progress. I am looking for a collaborator for research. Someone with experience in writing. So, if you are that person, please drop me an email at simplyrealfoods@gmail.com Thank you!
